Two empty green bean cans and a long string has always been the best.
1) Two (2) empty bean cans.
2) Drill small hole in center of bean can bottom.
3) Run small sting through hole in bean can and tie doubble knott.
4) Pull tight between two friends while one talks into the can and the other holds the oposite can to his/her ear.
