The can might say "paint over rust" but it works a lot better if you remover the rust first. It's all about the prep.

Like was said, keep a spray can handy and hit the rust as it appears before it gets established. It's easy and keeps it looking good.

The wire brush attached to a drill ended up working great to remove the rust. I do have some leftover paint. :thumb:
