I'm looking just to learn and ride it in a field or on the street I'm about 6foot even around 280 and I'm 18
I would look around for a different bike. That one is truly a frankenstein.

ALL of these are better options.

They would all let you ride around and get the idea. None of them will be your bike after 2-3 months though... you will want to upgrade. -BIG DAN:thumb:

You are a big boy. So you need to get something much bigger than that MX100. Try looking into the CRF, RMZ, YZF or KDX line up. At least a 200cc or bigger. The power on those bikes is verry soft and forgiving. They are easier to learn on. For someone your size would most likely be in the hospital with boken arms and or anckles. On that MX100.

I see, I was just looking to flip this bike and sell it for about 500 after I pain titans put new grips on

After I bought it and the guy left, I started it and flooded it big time. So I replaced the spark plug and tuned the carb a bit and it starts first kick every time! Just rode it at night time after work and completely mis judged the power to this thing it took me by surprise. Gotta get used to using the clutch and when to shift other than that I love it!

Welcome to the forum.
That's an 86-87 XR80? Great bike to learn on and pretty snappy to boot. You'll be able to sell it for what you paid for it but you'll probably keep it for a play bike while you move onto something larger.

It's an 1986 and yeah I doubt I'll get rid of this one. I'm known for flipping pocket bikes and stuff I think this is a keeper!
