New wheels. What make?

KDX's are known reliable(I may be a bit biased :P) as long as if you get a 220 you replace the piston right away(OEM is known to randomly shrapnel, wiseco is where it's at)

Think he must be referring to my stock 01 that finally let go in fall after 10 years on the motor, I can't believe it either??? Who would of thought that a 2stroke 250 RM wouldn't last at least 11 years on factory bearing's :noidea:

Nah, not you.... that other guys thread... the cross dresser from Illinoise or something... you know, the meatwhistler :smirk:

A very important piece of information is what kind of cash are you looking to spend?

You want the a very good if not one of the best trail bikes, then get a KTM300 EXC or XC-W. Light weight and electric start. It'll cost you though. A mid 90's or newer RMX/WR/KDX 2T would work for a lot less. Same goes for YZ/RM/CR 2T mx bikes as well.

Want power? Get a KX500.
