needing parts

might be just paranoia, and i doubt there is anyone out there re birthing dirt bikes, but all the same i doubt its a good idea to post full engine numbers and frame numbers on a forum. heres a few photos of my engine

alright ill have to look at my bike when i get a chance, the digit that we are concerned with on the frame is the 10th, and the code on the engine is just a prodection code, nothing you can do with it except locate the correct parts.

Was that frame repainted yellow? I think in 92 they went to yellow...

also this engine lower half looks identical to mine so it has to be an 87 or 88.

well thats promising, 88 was the first year for disc brake, but, I need to know the model number on your piston to know if the motor is an 87 or 88.

model number on the piston? all i have is from push rod down

ok sounds promising then. so they must have changed from painting engine blue to natural anodised silver at some time in 88.

the connecting rods slightly differ from each year. do you see any numbers or letters on your rod?

On my rod there is a "WY" when fully extended it says "Welcome to Jamaica have a nice daY"
