Just know that when parts like this go out of stock they never come back. The parts that are needed most often are the first to become unavailable. Get used to scrounging on eBay and Craigslist as you may find yourself in this same situation again with this bike.

The manufacturers only seem to support a bike for about ten years on average. Some even less and a few very popular models for longer.

That part is discontinued because they updated the part, Now you get a power valve kit, Its around 100 bucks.

I slapped the bike back together with the bad exhaust valve, it will have to do for now. It still operates just fine, in the mean time I will keep looking and replace it on the next rebuild, this was kind of fun, I learned a lot. It was my first time and I think I did a pretty damn good job.. Proud of my self

First start after a rebuild. Before starting it I checkd the piston compression and it was 170+ psi, norm is 176psi. I will let it run another 5-10 min and re check.
