need help

Hydro locked. You buggered it good. Go to e-bay and get a Wiseco top/bottom kit and fix it up. Kit should only be about 200 + or - for a 100. tools to do it are pretty cheap considering. You can do it yourself and save the money. I am doing my YZ20 myself (first time on a 2T moto).

Could have been a factor. Check it all out before you buy. Rod can have slight side x side play but basically nothing you can see up and down. Discolored crank is a burnt rod bearing. Look at my 250.

ALWAYS use new gaskets. See other post.

Coolant on your piston means the gaskets were bad.
Coolant on your crank will seize it in a hurry.
Rebuild my friend and the new gaskets will solve the issue. I suggest changing the water pump shaft seal while it's all apart.

Most likely,
I picked up the splitter, crank puller, and installer from Rocky Mountain MC for 150 bucks. Whole bill was more because I added a bunch of misc. tools and goodies too.

You don't need those special tools, but it sure makes it nice. I rebuilt mine without them. You get away without them if your money is tight.
