Need help...beginner DR looking for first Dirtbike

None of those are particularly good learners. I have a good time when I get on one though. Light, quick (surprisingly so) and you can turn them around fast. The suzuki isn't as friendly ergos wise as far as I am concerned to someone over 5'7" as the cr or the yz. the suzuki engine with the powervalve has a friendlier easier to trail ride note to it.

If you have one handy I would say buy some gear and get started.

If you want to look for something in the 4 stroke range that is affordable and reliable the xr200 or crf230, tt225 or 230, or KDX (two stroke that acts like a 4 stroke) are good choices. My feeling is that a 125 4 stroke wont keep you happy as a primary rider for very long, but they are a nice beginning and great keeper should lighter people want to ride with you in the future.

I already am light as it at 130-140lbs.. i actually like the xr200 cant find anything near me

Sometimes they are hard to find. Light and right for something like a tt125, dr125 etc is more like 100 lbs it in your case a beginner bike. 90 days and you will want "more".

i tend to like bigger motors like 200 threw 250 usually...i think its becuase of my hydroplane racing ive been doing for3yrs now hha

Wait until it brakes, then see what kind of support your broinlaw gets.

Meanwhile get a XR200, CRF230, TT225, TT230, and if you can afford it, CRF150R, CRF250X (or R), and you will be more happy.

Counting my runners and some projects that are basically 'all there' it's in the high 20's.

Very heavy considering the hp and the short suspension. Cheap tho. Unless your legs are challenged, the elec start would be better off in a box for the weight savings.

Hydroplane boats huh? Your gonna want to get a kx250 rolling chassis. Find a GSXR 1000cc or ninja ZX10R motor and stuff that porker in the chassis. That might be like hydroplane racing

If I can get half of them done, it will mean I lived a very long time. Restos go really slow for me. Builds seem easy in comparison
