I'm just glad they have this event again, if memory serves me right after Rockstar dropped the sponsorship they didn't have it last year.
This is a completely different event. AMA did not sponsor the Rockstar US Open that was held at the MGM. Since Rockstar dropped the venue, AMA decided they would run their own and throw it outside at Sam Boyd. The US Open was 2 days and it was pretty cool, since there were no AMA rules and you would see some pretty aggressive old school take out moves. This should still be a cool event. I will have to check the Casinos and see if there is any betting going on for this event. MGM had it since they were hosting the event.
Oh and Rack, quit being so cheap and gas up the car and drive out. I may know where you can get some tickets...

correct... The US open was not AMA related but most everyone participated because it was a prequal to SX.... also it was a chance for them just to have fun again...
Is it not the prequal to SX? Is there not big money on the line? There are no points on the line right? It's on the second week in October right?
