I helped on of my friends bring back a boat built in 1925. this was in 2005. had this huge diesel that put out less than 10hp new. I think I got it back to that at least lol. wood boat, Gene had calked many in the past, and one of his grandsons learned to do that too. took it to whittier and set the bilge pump up for him and after 24 hours it would hold water well enough to take it out and get it in the swells and get it soaked higher up. suprising how tight it got considering when he brought it in there were "slices" in it you could read through.
there are lots of free projects up here for anyone that wants to revive one. my neighbor did one of the evinrude branded boats years back. for helping him make it run he gave me a cz250 enduro that he couldnt get to run.
