Looking for a laptop.

I've been throwing around the idea of a new laptop. Probably will order one this weekend.

Right now i have a Acer Aspire 5810TZ, Good computer but it just don't like HD video, viewing or editing lol.

This is about the best bang for buck i've found.

Seem ok? Or anyone got a better recommendation.

Onlything i know i want is the 15.6ish screen...No bigger, for sure.


No gaming. ...90 % of the time its got 10 browsers running. I use photoshop,lightroom 4,paint (:smirk:) , Vegas pro 12(will be on the new computer)

The new MacBook Pro in 15" is a power house. Look atthe new macbook airs too. I got the new MacBook Air a couple months ago and it handles my 1080p video just fine. Plus it's so light and thin and it makes you never want to go back to a regular laptop again. I switched to the Mac club for the first time with that computer and the user friendliness is awesome. That's what made me switch from my android phone to the iPhone 5. I'm not sure if your an iPhone user but if you are your going to love how your phone and computer work hand at hand

Oh and the MacBooks come with photo and video editing software free so you do t have to buy a program. Plus if your a student most places give you between 100-200 off.

So, if you want good graphics you are going to need to spend way more then 500 bucks! but i did find that intel HD Graphics 4000 are good for the buck and AMD Trinity HD7660G integrated graphics are good.

Well i want the better graphics card, I don't need 750ggs of mem though. I have 320 now... And that is more then enough. I don't ever keep anything. So maybe i can find a happy medium.

Kind of hard to carry a desktop back and forth to work/home/camp

you wont find that happy medium unless you build one, witch will cost a lot more. For the price the one i linked too is a awesome deal and one of the best ones you will find

Also there are some really nice laptops with a kick*** graphics card... like the Asus Gaming Laptops...
This one has a i7 and a Nvidia Graphics card with 2gb ded. memory.. its a nice laptop cost more ofc but hey ^^ Its nice.

I have one laptop from asus.. great thing only problem I have had with it is it over heats....and that hitting 100° Cel. Not sure if they fixed there heating problems :devil:
