Get two quarts of Yamalube carb cleaner soaker
Get a manual
Get carb kit oem or equal
Count the air screw, and idle screw rotations
Dismantle and soak 4 hours minimum
Clean up with water
Then WD-40
Then compressed air
Reassemble using all new parts from kit
Or, send it to me with 150.00 labor, return shipping, and 30 for the kit and I'll do it for you.

if they start that easily cold, you have a very rich condition. the 20 year old float setting and needle is a good place to start.
