My plan was arrive early Friday for a big loop up through Afton and back. Saturday ride with the group, destination open. Sunday was going to be the KOM, maybe some Willy Boy Sunday night, and come home Monday.:cry:

So far I see 4 that ARE coming out and several still maybes. Has this changed at all? SUN, CDA and I think CDA jr are coming out, just not noted on the RSVP thingy...
I also have a friend and mayeb a riding buddy of his coming out.. work pending.

Is this ride event dwindling? I was planning on this but like I mentioned I now have the Supercross event that day to attend and I can not fit all of the events into one day. I wanted to come out and make the ride to see what it is all about with someone who knows where we are going.

Not dwindling otehr than Timo and Rolls being on the "injured reserve list". I was justtakign a head count, talked to Palmer (over lunch) yesterday, he's coming and maybe a few tag-a-longs, Bolt says he adjusted his calendar around this event plus the guys that have RSVP'd to this thread... The ride on Sat is a for sure, the one on Sun again for me, is a maybe... all depends on my aches and pains after Sat's ride.

So what's the family camp situation for this? Is it kid riding friendly? Anyone bringing wives, girlfriends , domestic partners LOL?......thinking of tagging the entire family along if it won't be a total bore for them

My place is in a "residential" neighborhood of sorts... I have a full time resident next door and another guy who I've yet to see a couple parcels down. There's riding on the dirt roads however there can't be any hauling ass or making a lot of dust/noise because of my neighbor. The kids would have fun riding the track I have, it could use some improvements, expanding, mods like doubles, table tops, you know... :smirk:. As for significant others, bring who you want, My wife and daughter "might" come out for the day Sat, not sure yet. My friends wife is planning on being there... as for being a total bore... could be, it's not a wide open area like it would be in dispersed camping.

The "good riding" is across the highway or in the hills behind us.

so you have a track? is it mellow enough for the little little kids? And im getting a better pic. its more of a residental spot with a little land then say you are butted up to the BLM or something.

5 acres, the track is very mellow... just winding aroudn bushes but spread out a little. Not butted up against the BLM... we're across the highway so we'd have to travel roughly a mile to get to it. in either direction... We have a fun "warm up" ride we call the loop that has a little bit of everything except water... 2 track into a sandwash onto 2 track (4 wheel required if not on a bike) into rocks, a couple rocky hills (nothing big, just part fo the 2 track) back onto whooped 32 track then back into another wash.....
