See what rock said? /\ /\ /\ There are some good ones out there but you need to know what purpose each one has. Lets divide it like this, dirt/street 50/50, 60/40, and even 70/30 Honda 650, Husqvarna 610/630, KTM 690, Kawasaki 650, all depending on the rider. Also (80/20 Suzuki 400.) Look at it this way the bigger and heavier the bike, the less trail/single track worthy it becomes. Like I said, there are guys out there that do it with big bikes and do it well, but they have many years experience behind them also.
Now, you tell us what you intend to use it for, and how much you would like to spend.
On a lower budget I think the DRZ400S is the way to go.
If you have the money go with a Husqvarna TE449 or TE510.
Both of these choices will give you the best of both worlds.
The Husky is far more trail worthy than the KTM's, but I have a DRZ400S and there is not anything a Husky can do that mine won't do. It's all up to the rider.
So, anyway let us know what your intentions are and we can give you much better advice.
Sorry Rock, I had to fix this for you. Are you out of your mind? KTM over Husky, WHY, because KTM has more support? KTM
OK, Highjack over. Just messing with Rock. I own Husky not KTM.
Both are great bikes.
