Clutch Spring Bolts

So whats the big deal of using regualr bolts aslong as they fit and are torqued to spec?

Remember how easy it was for you to unscrew the busted bolt from the hub by only using a tiny screwdriver??? That's the big deal.
Hubs clutches and pressure plates are balanced. That's why you see grind marks on new ones. If they weren't you would possibly tear up the trans bearings.

So if i broke off a regular bolt in there it wouldent be as easy to take out?

Use what you want, if you sign off on what used to get used by the OE and everyone after them. Just know what the payback can be either way. Balance? Not signing onto that one, as far as it taking your transmission bearings out or even being felt.

At any rate it wont take long for the right bolts/screws to arrive, but it sure wouldnt keep me from riding until they got there.
