Baldy Mesa Fire Ride

A good, scratch that, a great breakfast is needed, if I'm going to ride. I'd be worn out in no time, let alone the headache that would debilitate me. I have done coffee only mornings, when I'm on the bike by 5:00, but then it's usually be at Slash X for a breakfast and pitcher by 9:00 AM.

Nice OR...a Bloody Mary or three??????

If you go past the end where the no vehicles sign is you can go around and loop back up to the gigantic sandy hill climb. I was there with my boy a while ago and the locals showed us how to go back there and they said it was okay. I personally do not like to ride where I see signs like that but wtf. It is much nicer when you are by yourself up there and no retards on quads trying to take you out.

I'm looking forward to maybe taking the scooter off the stand more often, and hopefully have a great riding season.:thumb:

I just don't see how you can "have a great riding season" when most bestest riding partner is not availble. :noidea:

Compared to last year, it's got to be better.:ride:

When are you going to be able to ride again? Still got a couple of months until season is in full swing.

He'll be lucky to make the end of the season.:cripple:

Yeah!!! a true bestest riding partner/brother wouldn't even ride without you.....right??:smirk:

He did it to me all last year.:noidea:

I stand corrected, that's good enough..........i prefer that anyways!:thumb:

Hef on tap, goes very nicely with breakfast.

Yep, those are the hills. I used to go up and down those all the time on a Maico 400, or was it a 440  when I was brave. That was a long ass time ago when there were no homes any where around that area.

From what the doc has told me, I'm probably sitting this season out. I think I'll be able to get in an easy ride on some dirt roads by the end of the season though.

I wouldn't quite go that far, seeing as how I've ridden lots of times when he was down. But, never had any fun, though. :smirk:

Is it just me, or do any of you smell something. If I had to guess, I could swear I smell :bullshit:
