8/13 Triangle Track (2nd track)

Last time I went out, it was a mud pit, as you guys saw from the pictures :smirk: there's two tracks at the "triangle track" area, the BIG one with all the ruts and braking bumps and sketchiness, and then a mini one. The mini one is really fun because it's a small track, but it's more like an MX track. It has big berms, elevation changes, and *gasp* a jump! A sketchy little double right out of a turn, and right after you land, it goes right into another turn lol. It's almost like a dragon tail but in reverse, when you come up to it there's these little downhill whoops, and then the jump. Anyways, it's a fun track to just pound out some laps on and battle with friends. Last time I was out, though, it was flooded out. This time, both of the tracks were just perfect, albeit a bit too smooth anywhere but turns because it hasn't been tilled recently and it just rained. So now that I have a new front tire, new clutch cable (still gotta break the habit of going balls-out full hand clutch pull though), new pads, etc, it was a lot more fun than last time when I was fighting to keep the bike upright :foul:. We met this dude there who was ripping around on a little kx100 teaching his kid how to ride. His kid kept eating it HARD, but the little guy was a trooper. Kept going all day with us.

Overall, really good day of riding, which explains the lack of good pics. We were busy riding :ride:

And just for those desert/hard-pack riders (coughTRAVcough) whose bikes never get muddy, this is what a bike looks like up here after a DRY riding day :smirk:

lol so far i havent rode any rain just a watered down track your bike is definitely dirtier but it looks like a real watery mud... when mine gets dirty its like 6 inches of mud build up in spots.

Nice RR! Hey your left peg looks bent down.

They're old Enduro Engineering pegs from...well, the early 90s lol. EE doesn't even make pegs any more I'm pretty sure :smirk: Still got some decent grip on my boots, but yeah they both sag like that...just old like the rest of the bike :P

I think he meant that the desert/hard-pack riders don't get mud on their bikes, not that it's the same type of terrain.
