Well my chain guide finally got here today!
No more ghetto rolling, found a brand new NOS guide for 20 bucks!
And it was my first time ever taking a chain off. Master links...UGH. Why, Renthal, must your master links be so hard to remove?! Anyways, got the stupid clip off easily, but the actual link took a few minutes of prying with plyers and a flat head screwdriver, but I managed to not break anything.
Consider this a little update, aka my "Ride to friend's house to chain guide installation to ride back to my house to sleep to ride" report, I'm riding on sunday
