All 3RD ANNUAL DBA TURKEY DAY GOBBLE AND RIDE

BTW, a birdie told me the football field is loaded with those ugly red stakes. It will be interesting to see what has and has not been staked out there.

Those red signs better not be around all those hill climbs a couple of miles from the Football field. I dont know what the specific area is called but it is across the road and is one of my favorite places out there. Very hilly with all kinds of levels of steep. What is that area called? Anyone know?

I was talking to Ed Waldheim - FOJ today at a Forest Service meeting. Started to brag about 3000 red signs they have installed. I went after it right there. I was gonna wait till after the meeting as it was not a Cal City meeting. Pressed the point that what we DO to mitigate illegal travel should not be uglier than a few dirt tracks in the road. In the forest we use brown signs. And many understand they are virtually useless anyway.

All agreed we need to camouflage the trail heads to illegal routes to make it so people just don't have a reason to go there. On this approach OUTLAWS and the AGENCIES can agree. CUT BACK ON SIGNAGE... just hide illegal trail heads.

I will not know until TDay. May be some surprises up there this year and a lot of, what red sticks?
