Pro 2013 AMA National Hare & Hound Series

We are off to another H&H.......................

Norman Wins Winter Classic Hare & Hound
After skipping all of 2012, Red Bull's Kendall Norman showed up unexpectedly at the opening round of the AMA Racing/FMF/GPR National Hare & Hound Championship Series and ended up taking a convincing win, riding like he'd never missed a beat.

Kendall Norman won the opening round of the FMF/AMA National Hare & Hound Series.
Two-time and defending series champ Kurt Caselli led the early going but apparently suffered a terminal bike issue, leaving him with a DNF at the Desert Motorcycle Club's 46th Annual Winter Classic, a unique tour of the Johnson Valley Off-Highway Vehicle Area that consisted ofjust one 80-mile loop.
David Kamo borrowed his Johnny Campbell Racing Honda CRF450X race bike from last year and edged Off-Road Support Kawasaki's Jacob Argubright for second. Purvines Racing Beta's Nick Burson and T.J. Hannfin rounded out the top five.
Norman says he doesn't expect to contest the entire series.

Still don't know why Kendall doesn't have a factory ride, bummer that he's not planning on racing all of them.

From what I heard was Kendall is a full time Red Bull employee. He had a riding school out here in vegas and one of my buddies got an invite to go.

well I guess it looks like Redbull isn't paying him enough considering he showed up on his bike from last year's baja 500. I would hope that someone would come out and support him with bikes and parts considering he's one of the few guys that can challenge Caselli.
Did you see the get-off at 1:30? I dont know who that is but I am pretty sure it ended the weekend...
I did, I've done that before, yes, it did end the weekend :pout:

Norman Tops Caselli At Moose Run Hare & Hound

Kendall Norman makes it two in a row.

Red Bull's Kendall Norman backed up his round-one victory with another at round two of the AMA Hare & Hound National Championship. This one came at the Four Aces Motorcycle Club's 63rd Annual Moose Run at the Spangler Hills Off-Highway Vehicle Area outside of Ridgecrest, California, February 10.

Kendall Norman won again at the Moose Run.

The Honda-mounted rider had to work harder for this one, as Kurt Caselli of the FMF/KTM Factory Off-Road Racing Team slipped immediately into Norman's slipstream off the start and stayed within a few seconds for both loops of 88-mile course.

But Norman never made a mistake that Caselli could take advantage of, so the two-time and defending series champ had to settle for a close runner-up.

The leading pair's battle carried them well clear of the eventual third-placer, Nick Burson of the Purvines Racing Beta team. Unlike the first two, Burson had to come back from a poor start, but he managed to make his passes and get on the podium.

Johnny Campbell Racing Honda-supported David Kamo finished fourth, while Burson's teammate, T.J. Hannafin, rounded out the top five, his fifth place matching his round one result as he continues to learn SoCal desert racing.
