125 2000 YZ125, Water Pump Seals (+Pictures)

Coolant started dripping out of my weep hole, no problem, ordered the seals and gaskets necessary, but now i'm confused?
Which way do the seals go into the case, they look like this

And the outer side seal came pre-greased, I won't argue with Yamaha for that

So, which way do they face? I figured the side with the little spring would face inwards, while the side with the lettering would face towards the liquids? I tried a clymer exploded view, but that didn't help.

flat sides towards each other. The springs seal the liquid in, so you need a spring side out for the crank case oil and a spring side out for the coolant. I have to do this on my bike too.

are you sure thats an 86 rm125? it looks alot like an 87 thats for sure

100% sure, checked the vin's and model #, it's the trail version of the 86 rm
