I saw on some other website to turn it out 2.5 turnsYou got to start doing this before you start popping tops. Seriously.
Would it really idle wide open throttle just from the fuel screw?[/QUOT
NO FOR CHRIST SAKE
Yes I know the difference! I'm just not sure how to adjust them and I'm wondering because I doubt that's the main reason that's causing it to idle wide open. I'll adjust it though and see what happens but I'm going to check out the slide and see if I'm missing anything at all or if it actually isn't going all the way in.Are you actually paying any attention to any of this?
I'll try it. Hopefully it worksOk in your infinite experience you arent convinced that you can set the idle screw to where the engine runs like that, but I SURE AM. the rest of what you seem to think you know is what I am not convinced of. So make sure you really know which screw is the idle or throttle screw, and back it out like I suggested and give starting it a try. I hope you figure out before too long that the idle screw functions by raising or lowering the slide when the throttle is shut off.
Yee fkn hah! wiiiiiiinnnnnnnIdle screw adjustment worked. I feel like an idiot but I'm glad it's fixed! I rode it a lot today and it's probably my favorite bike I've ever owned. The acceleration is amazing. I like it more than the 03 yz250f I had and my cousins 06 crf250f. It looks rough but it rides so good!! Thanks for the help on getting it running good!
