Other 1980 Yamaha TT250

as much as as much as your bike is kind of a spraycan t-shirt hodgepodge, looking at those two together I still like yours better.
Ride on :ride:

:smirk: Thank you! :thumb:

I've heard ticket nightmares about Honda Valley. Awesome scooter you have there.
Thanks! :ride:

Really? I haven't seen any rangers out there in Honda valley. I did see a ranger out yesterday in oak hills, but he was towards the end of the trail where it meets with the street. Other than that, haven't seen any.

I'm in Apple Valley and I have an 1981 IT175 that would fit in with your bike perfectly.
Let me know if you wanna ride, I have alot of excellent singletrack out my driveway. -BIG DAN:thumb:

Went riding today.
I had got some new hand guards, which lasted all about an hour.

A hill that was too steep was not forgiving and demanded one of my new hand guards and my rear fender.
The hand guards in their prime.

And the bike at the end of the day. No more hand guards or rear fender.

Is there a thread for just pictures of your bike? I'm always posting in this thread, if not can someone add "and pictures" to this thread ?

I got a new rear fender. Also re did my seat. No more t shirt seat.

WTF Bro, how are we supposed to have matching bikes if you ditched the t-shirt seat? I guess I have to step up my vintage game. -BIG DAN:thumb:

Surprisingly, I'm loving the ktm/Yamaha number plate/fender setup! It's borderline vintage rape but actually looks good. Nice!!!

Haha! Sorry man, the T shirt seat cover got mud on it when the rear fender broke. The mud wouldn't come out, so I decided it was time for a new cover.
Surprisingly it only cost about $7, 30 minutes and came out better than I thought it would.
I've been meaning to ask, how are the trails near you so we can ride them? Hills? Flat? Loose sand?

Hey! Good eye. I don't think I mentioned it being a KTM number plate. I was going to get the 2016 yz250/450 number plate but a guy near me had this KTM plate for a good price, it just so happened to fit perfectly.
& Thank you!

Some pictures from today. Something always seems to go wrong.
Bent my handle bar on the right side trying to pop a wheelie.

And trying to go up a hill, the bike fell over and the front brake lever hit a rock and the end broke off.
You can also see I sanded the side of my right case cover. It was starting to look blotchy so I just sanded the black paint off. Looks good, I think, and the YAMAHA letters are much more visible.

Here's the only good picture that came from today!

Good news is new rear brake shoes should be getting here this week, so no more engine stopping/front braking when going down hills.
