All DBA T-Day Ride

As a reminder, I have a Southwind class A motorhome, white with green trim pulling a white enclosed trailer. I fly 2 flags with a yellow smiley face flag on top. For those coming in at night, I also have a blue LED light on top of the flag pole also.:ride:

Wow this is the active thread for sure.

Too cold? Damn usually I just sleep in the back of my truck. I would go to the extreme lengths of pitching a tent since the lows will be in the upper 20's for the next few nights. Now it's going to be warmer next weekend.

Now it is a bit cold right now. There is now falling out there above about 3000-3500 feet. I think that those headed out today will see a beautiful sight of snow covered hills. Now the geek is likely outside shoveling snow so he can get his rig out of the driveway. I have a sneaking suspicion that he awoke to a foot of snow. Lucky him.

EDIT: He was writing while I was. Only 3 inches. Lucky guy. It poured like crazy down here last night.

As far as the "bro" factor goes, ya I'm sure that they will be there. I usually don't go to the normal spots like Prospectors due to the crowd factor. I want GPS coords not because I don't know where the spot is, it's to find you guys in what will likely be a few hundred rigs.

Even at this late date I have no clue as to were I'll be on Tday itself. For once I kind of bummed that I don't have a nice rig. I think I could actually get my wife to come out on this trip.

I'm coming in a tent this year. It's alot easier roughing it without kids. The best part, is that TWS won't be there with Babe and Cooney, so I won't have to fend them off for any extra food there might be in camp. :busted:

I think Friday should be the geekslide day :prof:

of course we need to do a recon of the site prior to :smirk:

To reiterate CLEONARD, someone post exact coordinates of ground zero.

If the geek-slide ride launches at 9am or later, I'm in ... with the GoPro documentary media... :moon:

I do not know where the "geekslide" is as I have never been there. I hope to locate it on Wednesday or Thursday.
