That's a ton of oil on the top of those piston rings!
You should at least check the ring end gaps.
I like to use a telescoping gauge for bore inside diameter readings.

No joke! When I pulled the head off, I wiped the cylinder out just to be sure, then I rotated it. And my mind went: IMG_9123.jpeg

But anyway, I’ll check the end gaps, and add that to the list of tools to buy someday :smirk:

I think the min spec for a 4T 47.5mm piston is like 0.19mm
0.70mm is pretty big.

EDIT: Harbor Freight has a full set of T-gauges for $15 I think.
