I had to learn how to replace the top part of the kickstart last night. That C-clip was ultra-hard to put in, so I grabbed a socket that fit perfectly over the top shaft part, and gave it a whack. Worked great!

Got it running today! (just a bad spark plug ) Runs really good, but still smokes pretty bad . What do you guys think? Head gasket, piston rings, both?

It has 150 pounds of compression too….

Rebuild it right ,..... do the whole thing . And , don't scimp on cheap aftermarket parts ....
