100 KX100 top end rebuild

So the many years I've had my 100 I've never inspected the top end. Yesterday I got the itch to do so and everything checked out fine but I'm still going to go ahead and throw a new piston in there along with a hone. I'm just not sure which route to go. Forged or cast? Wiseco, pro x, vertex?

When I rebuild my 125 I used OEM and it was great but a little out of my price range for this bike. I work at a motorcycle retailer so I can get the above listed brands at 10% above cost.

I agree on the stock piston choice but I'm cheap and when it bites me in the ass I'll admit that I should have went stick

So where are we at so far guys? vertex or wiseco

Wisco is crap! Here is how I choose: OEM, Vertex, Wossner, Wiseco, and never Namura
