100 KX100 top end rebuild

So the many years I've had my 100 I've never inspected the top end. Yesterday I got the itch to do so and everything checked out fine but I'm still going to go ahead and throw a new piston in there along with a hone. I'm just not sure which route to go. Forged or cast? Wiseco, pro x, vertex?

When I rebuild my 125 I used OEM and it was great but a little out of my price range for this bike. I work at a motorcycle retailer so I can get the above listed brands at 10% above cost.

It's better to have the best in the worst, and it's more important to get the right size for your jug

or a stock piston, it lasted this long so not a bad choice

Wisco is crap! Here is how I choose: OEM, Vertex, Wossner, Wiseco, and never Namura

That's funny. Here on The EC we always choose wiseco first. Then again opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one and it usually stinks.

Is Wiseco OEM for anyone?
Yah, I didn't think so...
