Let me help you. The plug that it last ran on, what did it look like? Dry. Wet. White. Black. Oily charcoal. Come on, help out. I really find it extremely hard to believe that if you kicked it and pulled it that thd plug came out anything but wet when you mention you bad raw fuel"chilling" in the pipe and cases.

Couldn't give a flying pickle about the new one.

tolerances that I refer to are such niggling things as the clearance between the piston and the cylinder walls. Ring gap "ring any bells"? You know that silly stuff that has so much to do with whether the rig runs at all and especially if it it runs as designed? Have you hot access to a motor manual of any kind?

Oh alright, sorry if that came off as a dumb question I haven't heard that term used before. I'll check all of that tomorrow. I don't have access to any kind of manuals. That's mainly the reason why I'm on here asking all sorts of questions.

I was just thinking that knowing the words would make it faster. You seem to figure things out well, it's just getting it across. We have lots of time and this is how some of is entertain ourselves.

My bad, I couldn't tell you about the old spark plug because the previous owner had the bike in pieces. I'm sorry I can't be as mechanically inclined as you I'm learning this S**t as I go.
I never said anything about "Bad Raw Fuel" what i was there was gas in the crankcase and pipe. After I got the bike put together I went out and tried kick starting it, it wouldn't start. I then attempted to push start it. after the 5th or 6th time push starting it the bike fired up but died as soon as i let off the throttle. I went into my house and got myself a drink, when i walked back out side the bike was literally pouring gas out the bottom of my carb. I took the carb off and clean it... Put it back on and attempted to start it again. once again I had to push start it. only this time it stayed running for probably 10 seconds then died again, Did a compression test before tearing the top end down. it was 60lbs per square inch. when i tore the top end down i notice there was gas in the crankcase.
Sorry if that came across as rude I had no intentions of it being that way, I'm trying my best to explain everything

I put the carb back on the bike and held the throttle wide open, I kicked it 7 times before the needle stopped moving. The difference wasn't very much more but it did add to it View attachment 28711

I got a kick out of this, you're funny. Actually the only reason I said to have the throttle open was because if its closed the engine may not breath well enough during the test and show a lower reading.....if the carb was off then this is not a factor. I like how you are trying to follow along though.

I agree knowing the words/terms would make this go a lot faster and I do know a little about mechanics, But my dad never taught me the terms, he kept S**t simple for me. Like I can tear this engine apart and reassemble it within a hour or two, when it comes to explaining something or as you put "Trying to get it across" to the other person I get all KlusterF**ked.

I'm glad you got a kick out of that. What can I say I'm a relatively new to this, I'll be the first to admit when i work on this bike there's times Im clueless on what needs to be done. I honestly thought I knew a lot more than what I actually do.

If an engine isn't Holding enough pressure long enough, too much of the fuel air mixture gets lost down the cylinder walls and isn't there to be burned. If the compression is too low there is a good chance that leakage will occur when the hot gases are expanding, losing more power yet. The compression test is useful in determining if the rings, cylinder walls and piston are worn to the point that you are losing too much of that pressure and need teplacement. A two stroke will put out about 8-10 times as much pressure on the power stroke as it does the compression stroke. So you see it's important to start high on compression.

Alright thanks for explaining that to me. I'm about to go measure the piston, cylinder, and ring gap. I'll let you know what the measurements are.

Niggling. Good word. Not used much anymore because everyone is a pussy.
A senate assistant a few years back used the word "niggardly" during a meeting and was promptly dismissed. That fucker should have been president.

Niggardly which if I recall was a Scandic word for cheap or miserly. But the people who look for reasons to feel guilty and do things of no consequence to make up for things they had no part of rewrite the dictionary. You see 700 years ago when what would become Norwegians developed the root to that word, their intent was obviously to keep black people subjugated to them.

Do you see this kids? This is why reading actual books is so important. Andy didn't make this up, he read this! He knew what I was talking about not because of Google but because he opened a book. I love this stuff. Education is knowledge and knowledge is power! Now go get a book and learn some shit. While you are out there getting your knowledge on, buy a damn motorcycle manual for your bike. Why? Because no one likes a blind cab driver and the more you know, the more info you can give us so we help you faster, which means getting on the dirt faster. Getting on the dirt faster increases your chances of being seen by some hotty and her becoming so mesmerized by the awesomeness of you and your dirt scooter she will show you her boobs. Then you will truly be a winner and all of this because you read a book. :thumb:
