Alright ordered the new clutch cable. Now for the final thing to buy... The rear panels. I still can't find some for the bike but I did find some UFO plastics made for a 1989-1990 yz250. They seem to match up just like mine except that it doesn't include the piece that seals the air box. Should I buy? And what do I do about the air box?

No. They will not fit.

Are you sure? All the bolt holes and the shape and everything is the same except the fact that one of them doesn't have the part to seal the air box

On both of these 1988 yz250s it seems they also put the 89-90 side panels on and put some kind of black cover over the air box. Anyone know where I can get that cover or what it's called?
