I wonder what kind of premix they run in those bikes? They should run only the best 2t oil there is. The best 2t oil is Silkolene and that's all they should ever run. It's the absolute best... Silkolene it's the best.

I am getting better at telling when you guys are up to no good. :P :smirk:

There are no limits to how far a 500cc two stroke can be pushed. There is nothing your bike can do, that a 500cc two stroke could not do. Ok yes I know most of them do not have electric start. All I have to say to that is if you have the bucks you can modify it so it does have electric start. :smirk: For all those who say that a 500cc two stroke is for the desert only well, When was the last time you rode one? If you implement the technology we have today to a 500cc two stroke. It would be a bike you could ride no matter what style riding you do. When I say this you all seem to think I mean only the CR500af. Well you are wrong.. I mean any 500cc two stroke and or open class two stroke. KTM300 - Maico 700cc two stroke. I should've actually titled this thread OPEN CLASS TWO STROKE'S OF GLORY. Then maybe it would not look so one sided as far as the CR500af goes. Please do not take this thread the wrong way. I just feel that with the history of this sport. the Open Class two strokes should never be forgotten. Especially, since they proof themselves to still be very competitive when raced against the current crop of bikes.
It is pretty obvious to me that some are still very interested in the Open Class. Just look at all the views this thread has. :thumb:

You've said it before, you're too slow. You did mean riding, right:sorry:
I say it every time you see my profile on here. You can not kill Godzilla. The 500cc two stroke was designed for Motocross. Now it is time to bring it back. More and more rider's like myself are doing so. You see it everywhere you look someone is doing a conversion of a CR500af or KX500af. They are know putting the 500cc two stroke engines in all makes of bike. KTM500exc is one bike in which I posted a video of. To where the owner immediately tore out the 500 four stroke engine and installed the CR500 in its place. So why does Godzilla always return? Because you can not kill him... I know :blah: :blah: :blah: But the 500cc two stroke should be allowed back for the outdoor races.
