It is in Metric. 110/90 = 4.25"/4.00"Like the title says, what do the individual numbers mean? For instance a 110/90-19, I realize the first 2 have to do with the height and width (right?), but how do they translate it real world numbers? And the last number is of course the tire size.

The 110 is the width and the 90 is 90% aspect ratio
