some LPNF Vids

Yes. jeeesh.. lol, and I was stating , there not on my Honda. as you could see from the video. and laughed cause I said they are on my KTM. get it? LOLOLOL.

I had an old set of acrebis on the Honda but those are a piece of shit, kept on moving and causing the break to engage at the worst time. so i chucked them. I will get a pair of Cryra's, as I like them on the KTM. haven't moved a bit and are solid. Pricy but super.

:thumb: gotcha nice honda btw :P

going up Saturday again if interested. gonna try to talk the group into hittin piru, that trail with the metal ramp. It's not a difficult trail, just a few obstacles to go through. The route all depends on the group of the day.
if interested. 8am, Saturday, Edison.

I appears that there are a few folks out there that do not appreciate me posting videos of the trails I ride. They believe my videos will result in either closing of the trails or over use by the masses. They want all the trails to be left a secret paradise, this includes trails and such in OHV parks, open areas, as well as marked trails on national forest. Some even get irate and argumentative on the subject.

I post videos in order to get some of the guys and gals out of the parking lot and onto the trails, and to add a few friends to my circle of riding buddies. Which is very cool when someone rides a new trail that is more difficult than what they have ever done before. Some riders are intimidated by the unknown, and will stay away from a trail and not try it. If they happen to watch a video, someone else or mine, they could assess if they are at the skill level to try the trail or not. I have met a few people that tried a trail because of my video and loved it, other not. There happens to be more riders out there that won't try some of the trails because of what they saw in the video.

The videos I post, where I explicitly identify locations, are from legal trails or open OHV parks, not the Super Secret Singletracks. I may post snippets of other rides and such and won't divulge the exact location or route to those trails. But Jeeseh, getting upset and say i'm killing the sport because of videos of an OHV park open area, or a legal National forest trail, give me a break. Sensitive areas are not divulged. that is a known rule.

I will continue to record my adventures. however, to keep the whiners at ease, I'm considering not to link them to the dirtbike forums anymore. Those that want to view my videos and pics, know where to view them.

More so over on TT however I can appreciate the concern. On here I've heard concern of posting long/lat (googling) exact areas/routes, trails used. As for your vid's...show the vids, but don't say exactly what trail it is or location for that matter (unless you want to). :prof: Many of the arguments on TT about posting trails is so no one else goes there and uses them...they don't want them being over used......I say the more the merrier. That's what they're there for to be used be ALL of us! :prof:

As much as I respect what you are saying, THERE SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM WITH POSTING VIDEOS THAT WERE TAKEN IN A LEGAL RIDING AREA. For us to succomb to the greenies on this point is giving in. Anybody who has a problem with this should look elsewhere including any yahoos who might have sent you PM'S. There are thousands of vids of LPNF out there for all to see. Why not continue to post them for all of us to enjoy.:prof::prof:

I am so f**king sick of being afraid of our shadow anymore and all of the politically correct bullshit. Reconsider please. Rant over.:rant::rant:

If anyone has an issue with a post/ride report send ME a PM and not the poster.

I'm also tired of all this as you put it, "politically correct bullshit". Which is a big part of why this forum is still around.

Still waiting to hear from you Msgt. :ride:

I have a problem with all these videos...I'm not in any of them. :smirk:

If anybody on here has an issue with the videos, they can go back to the other forum and rant about it....:finger:

a couple years ago, with less than a year of riding under my belt. I used to always pass by and not take various trails within the OHV because they were marked black diamond. There was that unknown complexity and somewhat of a fear of the trail. I finally saw videos posted and was able to assess and decide that I could try them. I was happy that these dirtbike riders posted them and wished I could see more. So, I figured others may be in the same boat. I got a camera and decided to document my rides. been doing it ever since. Hope my videos entertain and help others as well.

I would hope that my videos would be a positive thing and not a negative one. some people love them, others despise them. I understand that certain places are not to be documented. that is the rule. and I follow that rule. I would not publicly post a video of a precious secret single track out there in the real world.

I get a sense that some of these guys are worse than some of these tree huggers. They don't want to see trails closed, but they want to keep them to themselves. and when you don't bend over and fold to their wishes, they get argumentative and belittling. All I will say, I'm gonna continue to have fun without them, so F'em and the horse they rode on. LOL

I'm gonna continue to get out and ride, document my adventures, hope to meet new friends, and ride various trails in the hobby. and if it's just limited to a small part of this world with a few friends, that's fine with me. The cool people, with the cool rides can blackball me and my camera. I'm happy riding with who I ride with and where I ride now.

Do you guys think trails will be closed or overused because of my videos?

No!
