In the video you were yelling to your partner you hit the branch around the corner......sucker jumped out at ya like a tree snake! I wasn't gonna say anything that it looked like it was almost a straight on "hit". That's just not me....:smirk:

As I was Flyin off the trail headin towards the tree... I was thinkin, this is gonna hurt. I stopped just short of the tree.. Woo Hoo. LOLOL.

Glad you didn't hit it as expected...ask PlushPuppy how much "give" trees have!

Geek, is this the area you want to show me?

Rack, you should be safe...I didn't see any water! Actually I'd love to ride there! :thumb:

Nice DN video.....:smirk:

LOL.. it was a straight shot. must of knocked me loopy.

Went back up there today in search for my lost phone. No Luck. However, ran across Ed, Cliff, and Cliff's son Jake when I was heading up. Ed rode with me to the spot I launched and back, while Cliff and Jake headed back to the trucks. Thank you Ed for running up and back with me. That branch is solid. too bad i didn't think about bringing a saw with me. that's definitely gonna get someone else.

I am glad I decided not to do a bigger loop, as my knee is killing me. a sore knee made for a slow ride.

My Gopro camera is awesome.

Some of you may know I lost a phone up in the forest Saturday. a zipper on my Ogio vest was partially open and it fell out. today I went up and tried to find it. No luck. However, when i got home I was scanning the videos that I took and low and behold, I saw the phone. after watching the segment a dozen times, I got the landmarks, tree formations and rock garden on the Tejon. I drove back up to Gorman with the 24 yr old Daughter. headed up Tejon solo about 6:15 PM. Went to the location on Camera, and there it was. funny thing, it was 3 feet from the case and upside down. it was fully charged and NO DAMAGE. what a good day. my knee feels a bit better after that. was off the mountain by 6:40.

If it weren't for the super clarity of the Gopro camera, I would of never found it.

That is a good story!!!! You should put it in the Camp Fire Stories Thread, cuz I am sure you will tell it again. :thumb:

i am talking about on your honda, cuz thats what you were riding in the crash lol

Yes. jeeesh.. lol, and I was stating , there not on my Honda. as you could see from the video. and laughed cause I said they are on my KTM. get it? LOLOLOL.

I had an old set of acrebis on the Honda but those are a piece of shit, kept on moving and causing the break to engage at the worst time. so i chucked them. I will get a pair of Cryra's, as I like them on the KTM. haven't moved a bit and are solid. Pricy but super.
