America Travel Advice

So turns out I'll be heading to the states next year for about 4 weeks & wondering if anyone can shed some light on places to go & see & where to simply avoid. If all things fall into place im hoping to catch an AMA supercross race over there but will have to wait and see.

Cheers

stay out of the city.

without details thats the best advice i can give ya. America has tons of amazing sights to see just depends on how much time and what parts you will be in.

Things to see , Grand Canyon, hover dam, mt st Rushmore, Yosemite, sequoia national park, yellow stone national park, all up and down the southern coast of Alaska, Niagara Falls those are just to top of my list to see.

Southern coast of Alaska :noidea: stay of the shine nickel. You are way to far north for most of this.

If you could share the approximate dates and a general area you're wanting to go it would help a lot.

:noidea: not sure what you saying but I am saying go see the southern part of Alaska not that all of these places are in southern Alaska. Btw I spent a week in Alaska and it is by far the most beautiful place I have ever seen.

I wanna go there :(

But yes please share some more details! The US is too large for you to see it all in just 4 weeks. So if you tell us what region you're visiting we could tell you of some kick ass sites to see :rocker:

Sorry guys should have given dates. We would be in the states from 19th of april to about the 19th of may. Id like to get to the last supercross race in vegas on the 2nd of may. if anyone could help out when tickets go on sale that would be great. From Australia we would be going straight to LA do disneyland etc to San Fran and onto vegas, then at some stage we would fly to New York to spend about 5 days around the area.

Do Disney in Florida... Way more there for you to enjoy... Vegas tickets are on sale now I think...
New York City is the the greatest city in the world but the things you should see are a Broadway show, time square, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and ground zero/ World Trade Center. If you can spend more time out west.... Grand Canyon, Death Valley, San Francisco is a beautiful city, Yellowstone national park is wonderous... If you can stop by Canada... They give free popcorn on Thursdays...

LA to Dismal - land, be sure to bring a hefty bank roll... just sayin.
SF - Goldengate bridge is an awesome sight
Las Vegas - While you're there check out Hoover dam... just a little out of the city... again, pretty awesome. You might consider the Grand Canyon, not far from there.
Zoo York - Couldn't tell ya, just know they call it the city that never sleeps. The sights M33 posted are great suggestions.

I know it's early but ... have a great time and be safe.
