I know, snowflake said I should adjust at the lever, and I was told by a buddy that has a yz and is a mechanic that my clutch is "not releasing"I said clutch issues, like worn out plates.
Absolutely no telling how old it is, I'll probably change it soon regardless.Could be as easy as replacing the cable. It could be bound up. Or you could try to lubricate it.

I may pick one up tomorrow. Its cheap to do and not very hard. I think a aftermarket cable goes for like $20ish. And and OEM one is just a little more. Just make sure that you pay attention to how it is routed from the lever to the engine case. Matter of fact that could be one of your problems. If its not routed correctly it may cause it to not fully disengage.
Yea, but I went with new oil, and when riding I started revving and working the clutch to try to free it up, and after I do that, itl stop and I can hold the clutch in and it will idle. If I ride for a while and try it again it starts acting up again.Does it do it when the bike is warm also?
Just enough to fit the blade of a screwdriver in.Pick up the OEM cable. I have tried the aftermarket and for 5 bucks more the OEM is WAY BETTER!
How much slack is at the lever?
