I hate these young kids that will discount a bike because of its age. It's like if it not a 2015 it's a piece of crap. That's BS to me. Age means nothing, it's a machine it can be rebuilt and made new. It's all about condition. A good runner is a good runner no matter the year congrats on the bike! Good to see another 2t out there!

Well my 2002 wont qualify as cromo anywhere but a brochure. But I like the bike a whole lot.

2006 WR450, shaft is a little longer for first gear. Can cut it down or machine down the pushrod #2 and use it with steel ball.

I havent compared the wr426 to the 450 that way. Tooth count is the same.

WR400-426 and 06 WR450 is same tooth count. For some reason the 03-05 WR450 has the same as a YZ.

I was wondering about the shaft on the estart version. I think I have a line on one from a 426 with bad cases.
