My wife don't ride bikes, gayquads, and/or like to get out and get dirty in the hills or Desert. Bring her to every event you can while she is young enough. As the ladies get older they don't get as excited as we do when we clear a double.

Same here which is why she's an exwife and all she does/did is complain about how dumb it is to ride when you can watch a movie instead (wtf?)
I'm currently test riding new better models with some great aftermarket bolt ons...

I say this post is worthless without pics. I'd like to see the models you are riding. Are the Jap, Euro, American, or Chinese knock offs.

My oldest brother would ride with me as much as possible if he lived here. And my other brother likes the idea of riding but would much rather play his computer games and come home at 3 am every night (frat guy). As for my dad, he owns and runs his own business and acts like the world will end if he takes a 3 day weekend every once in awhile. And if he doesn't mow the lawn every weekend or do some sort of work at the house the world may also end then. We bought this nifty new TH and we haven't got a chance to go camping/riding. I told my mom we HAVE to go on a weekend trip this summer and she responded with "we will as soon as it cools off" We go camping all summer what's the difference! You aren't the one riding, mom! No big deal mom, the last time I rode was in November...I can wait till then! NOT! hahahaI
I would like to get a couple of those Chinese knockoffs to beat around the back yard... Maybe a couple of those Nagasaki models too

Get her on a bike ASAP! The thing is....most girls who have coordination, arnt too girly girl and get the opportunity to try out riding love it! I think some of the "problem" is, guys like to "keep" their girl friends clueless to make sandwhiches for them, cheer them on and take care of them. It makes the guys feel macho and loved to have a girl on the sidelines. OR, they dont want them to get into it because if they do, their "buddy" "dude" time on bikes will be less and it will be more of "I wanna go!" "No fair!" 
You'll be glad you did. You two can have a lot of fun riding. Ideally some trails in beginning. It's a great fun for couples. Alone and away from the track and all of your buddies if they are obnoxious, so she can focus and enjoy it. And THEN get her on a track if she is interested. Only do this if you think she is a keeper and it is worth it. Otherwise it's not worth the money or hassle. And only if she isnt ridiculously girly girl. Because those types usually are high maintenance, dont make good riders and are not as much fun, except for sex
Opps! Did I say that? Now, that doesnt mean give up racing or your "dude time" on bikes. Make sure that is understood. Everyone needs their time away from one another doing what they love.My two cents
