Whats goin on? I'm trying to decide what size bike to get? I'm a novice to dirt bike not riding. Been riding street for a number of years. But I know dirt can be different. I'm 6'4" 250lbs. I plan to ride both track and trail. been leaning toward the yz450f or crf 450r side but didn't want to get in over my head. any suggestions?

Considering you ride street, and have a similar build as myself...
I think a 450 4 stroke would suit you well. You should also consider a 250 2 stroke if you want something very light and flickable.
Both have advantages.
2 Strokes are lighter, but require some finesse in gear selection and power delivery.
4 Strokes are easier to ride, but typically a little heavier.
I do not have a preference...

I would get a Yamaha over a Honda. The WR or YZ is a good choice for what your thinking. But I would go with the WR if over 70% trail and YZ if opposite.
