The head had a burr on the edge, of where the cam journal rides. A quick shot with some emery cloth, and I'm good to go.

The new valves. :drool:

Whats wrong with a 230 plated bike? :prof:

I plan on getting a crf230l as backup DS bike and buddy bike. Rented a crf230 before and thought it was great for what it was.

Power felt fine to me, I'm no pro so needing the extra power that I wont use isn't an issue. Plus their is always way to help boost the power. Suspension was kind of soft but I could always throw on some inverted forks on that puppy...I've seen it done. The main reason I want the bike is simple...reliability. Can't beat an air cooled engine for reliability and ease of maintenance. They last forever with an oil change and air filter cleaning once a year
