Repacked steering stem, linkage, and shock bearings, replaced fork seals, fork bushings, added pre-prints, and pillow top grips.

I guess if you know you fly over the bars a bunch you shouldn't have them. If I was a track groupie I would not use them either. Most people that hurt themselves run them "way" to high. I run the metal part just below my levers and low profile guards, never had my hands stuck in them once. There can always be a first, but I don't plan on it.
