I did the same thing, but I drove it home with the windshield taped in with 200 mph tape.

Yeap flipped mine over on the wheels and used the same tape to put the battery cables back together..

Although I haven't physically seen my bike in a about a week or two (to lazy to go in the backyard and say hi I guess ) I did order my bike a new graphics kit today...can't wait till it comes in! Having to ride a naked bike gets awkward
