What did you do to your bike today?

by entertaining you mean..........:noidea:..........:P
150 or more miles with massive sand washes and who knows what else. Gas bottles hanging off of handle bars or in back packs and El Diablo. :smirk: I personally do not mind the sand washes, unless you hit the hidden rock, ask Tim. I have never done a ride of this distance in one outing, we usually do anywhere from 25 to 70 miles depending on terrain. I am planning on riding up there and over to the Husky so perhaps we will meet up. I look forward to this ride report.

Took off the front number plate so I could mount a 1 gallon bottle fo gas for the "extended" ride we're going on this weekend Ought to eb EPIC,...I've never been on a ride that long before. Started and restarted my bike several times (couple because it died) to make sure it wasn't a fluke and that it's actually OK ... :thumb: Now I need to re-mount my front fender pack with my tube in it.

we finally get to meet and :ride:

Today was the wifes car and my trucks turn for oil changes. A couple days ago i picked up some oil and oil filters from autozone. Today it took me a good hour or two just cleaning up the garage to make room to fit a car in. After that was done the wifes car was up first. went to put the new oil filter on and whats this? WRONG DAM ONE. the idiot gave me the wrong filter even after looking it up on the computer :foul: Ohh well honest mistake i guess so i head down there and nicely ask for the correct one. the guy goes and gets the right one and(different guy from the other day) so i go home finish the job and start on my trucks oil change. Get to putting the new oil filter on and SOAB :foul: this guy who sold this shit to me is full blow HERP A DERP cause this is the wrong filter as well. This time i head back in and im not so nice. Not only do i bring in the new one that is wrong but i bring in my old one that is about a quarter full of old oil still. i set the new and my old one (making sure to turn it right side up so the oil starts coming out) on the counter and let em know im not happy and this is strike 2. Then the guy who actually sold me the wrong ones comes out. i tell him you sold me the wrong one TWICE. then he has the nerve to start asking me questions... what make, year, model, yada yada. I was like DUDE my garage is sitting open right now because of YOU i got to go.

So i guess ill be shopping at O'Rileys and not Autozone from here on out.

I used to go to a local parts company that had been in the valley for years so I could avoid the chain type houses. Well they sold out and now it's Car Quest. They've slowly moved out the old dudes that knew their shat, to young, know it all punks.

What's going to be epic, is seeing Rez wrestle that big old pig, full of gas, with another 7 pounds of gas strapped to his forks, in the deepest sand known to man. We might never even make Hinkley.:smirk:

Put stabil in the fuel, ran it down the street, drained the tank so it wouldn't discolor, stabil is for the little bit thats left in the carb.
