I bought a set for my 07 WR and noticed a big difference on it. This 04 was a little more of a challenge to get them on since it had triple trees for 45MM forks, but I can only imagine what the difference over the stockers will be. There were a few AOSS boingers out there for reasonable also, but everything I've seen says to stick with the SSS years.:noidea:

Another major find,2004 WR Tall Seat Foam.:banana: There's plenty of covers out there, but trying to get the kit even from the factory has been impossible. I just didn't want to take my Yellow Scoot out with a Blue and Black seat. :picard:

The 04 WR has 45mm forks? I would have thought Yamaha would have had 46mm like the 2 stroke YZ’s and changed to 48mm in 2004, the only year of 48mm opens before they went to 05-AOSS then 06-SSS. Strange, didn’t even think Yamaha did 45mm.

The 04 has 46’s. I think the WR’s went to 48’s in 2006. The YZ 4 strokes went with 48’s back in 2004 along with the 2 smokes. The 04 and 05 YZ’s have the AOSS forks, the same as the 07 WR.

I went with a all black, tall Factory Effex, so no other yellows. Next redo I can do better on the shroud graphic color, but until then I'll ride the shat out of it.
