Not heavy feeling either. I rode a friend's XR4 around and it wasn't too bad. Feels different while you are moving anyways. Bulletproof, like Rack said!

I love my XR, but an older 250 two stroke might be better if you think you might hit the track.

By far the most important thing is to just get a bike, any bike. Concentrate of building some cash and be ready to strike when a deal comes around.

My boy rides a 03 yz250. The thing hauls azz. I paid 2,000 for it three years ago.

I will put my favorite bikes in order.

1st-Cr250 great realibilty very fas and has great power handling is pretty good could be better.
2nd-Rm250 great handling and suspension you can not bet them on comfort also the power is pretty good not like the cr.
3rd-Yz250 Great realibilty they have good suspension and handlin they are one of the best trail bikes out thier.

I have rode all the bike listed besides the yz250 I have done research though on other forums.

XR would be a pig on an mx track...a yz250 is like the jack-of-all-trades of the dirt biking world, would be perfect for what you want to do. Maybe I'm just partial to smokers but do you really want to forget the smell of pre-mix in the morning? :devil:
