The cam chain guide shouldn't be crazy expensive from an OEM dealer.
UNLESS you mean some part of the case is damaged???
Welding can be done, but by someone with aluminum/magnesium welding experience.

It looks like the important part is still there! That part just holds the bottom of the guide. The alignment is done with the cylinder tabs above.

Alright sweet, you got any idea why that piece would have snapped in the first place just swapped the piston and chain under 10 hours ago and was placed in right?

Did you find the chunk that's missing?
Nothing should be able to damage the case there except improper tool usage or catastrophic damage to some other rotating component.

Yup, my mechanic found it in the bottom of the motor and it did no damage anywhere else. He placed in the groove a couple months ago. Just don’t see how my timing chain could skip to knock it out.
 
It wasn't the chain jumping, the guide wasn't in the pocket, and the counterweight hit the guide and snapped it off. Installer error
