Vacuum Chamber

I've had it in my head for awhile now to build a small vacuum chamber to use for drying out air filters after washing them, using the a/c vacuum pump I have.
Anybody ever tried this, or know anything about how, or if, it might work?
I was thinking some MDF, Plexiglas, and a hot-glue gun...

It's called multiple filters. I have at least three for every bike. One in the bike, one new back up, and one cleaned and oiled in a bag. FFS get some more filters, even if they are tusk.

I though MDF was banned in America???

Water boils in a vacuum, it will leave the filter as it becomes a gas, this is how I pull moisture out of a/c systems before I charge them.
Exactly. I think its a cool idea, so I'm probably gonna give it a go just for shits and giggles. I'm betting I could build it for under $30.00.

You live in AZ, the filters should dry in 5 mins....Are you cleaning filters the day of your ride or day before? Clean them the same day after the ride or next day, they will be dry by ride day...

Just my $.02
