When it comes to doing a job that is a little more complex than normal or something I haven't seen before, I am a big fan of photos, (especially the before photo), tags if necessary, sharpies, and ziplock baggies, all labeled of course.
Once you do it though you realize that their all pretty simple really, and the next time gets easier.
A large part of being a good tech is being confident, and that only comes with experience.

Confidence is often born from stupidity. I try to keep that in mind before I feel pride well up when someone says that I seem "confident".
