This is where we were going, almost there;

This was home for a few days

Couldn't have asked for better weather, rained a little the first night and then things started getting serious

Had to wait in the truck while it poured, thundered and lightning, oh my

Wet dirt!

Keeping the dirt wet....

My son had a blast, his first time in the mountains, epic

He even tried to steal my bike, good thing he can't reach the ground on it.....

Packing the truck up tomorrow, back in 10 days or so.....

That would be the Kern Plateau aka Kennedy Meadows. Actually not an insane drive for you in LV at 5-ish hours.

Where? Up in the trees! Kennedy Meadows, Sequoia Nat'l Forest.
Next trip in September when it's almost guaranteed to thunder and rain?

im going to Km on the 17th and 18th. any of you want to be my guide?

its the middle of the week so i doubt it so if not can someone show me the good staging/camping spot (on googlemaps) and possably some good trails ?

also PBK... SEE perfect pics to show your brother... TALK him into going so we can and i can thank him for use of the bike while he was gone.
