I received this email from Stewards of the Sierra National Forest.
http://www.sotsnf.org/
The Forest Service held their first open house meeting for the release of the Record of Decision (ROD) which is the blueprint for the future use of the forest and only 21 people showed up at the Oakhurst Community Center.
If you value the ability to keep using the Forest as a place to take your families you may want to go the www.sotsnf.org and find out when and where the next three meetings are going to be held this week and show up in force to let the Forest Service know you care about your PUBLIC ACCESS TO PUBLIC LANDS.
We need to stay engaged in the public process because believe it or not just one person can make all the difference in the world.
