Very Nice Trav :thumb: When I was a boy growing up on my Grandparents farm we were able to self sufficient. We had an acre of garden where we grew tomatoes, lettuce, onions, potatoes, corn, cucumbers, broccoli, spinach and bunch of other stuff. We also had pear, apple, mulbery and peach trees throughout the property. My grandfather had a vineyard and winepress. We also always had cows, chickens and at times pigs.. We were never hungry and on top of that My father and I were avid hunters and fishermen... I love knowing that if need be I can jump right back into being self sufficient, but I'm also surprised at the amount of people that would starve because they never learned to be a hunter gatherer. Pass this stuff on to your kids. Its honest and rewarding work.
